Is it worth repairing?

• Shock absorbers and suspension are moderate repairs and usually worthwhile.
• Bearings take more labour. On a good-quality machine under about eight to ten years old, it is usually worth it.
• Control boards vary a lot in price. On an older budget machine, a board can approach the cost of a new machine.
